You know me, always prepping for growth. To that end, we've done some shuffling of editorial duties. As you know we've got 5 guys with the word "editor" in the title. In an effort to break up the work load we've decided to go with a "Group Editor" system.

Okay, what does that mean?

Basically we're each taking a section of Faux DC to "sheppard" and keep primary track of. Group editors will be responsible for recruiting new writers, establishing new titles, maintaining their assigned sections and serving as primary editorial contact for issues relating to those books. Note the word "primary". This isn't a strict branch system. There's nothing stopping any one group editor from jumping in to help another if need be. But the site has reached the point no one man can keep track of every title for continuity glitches or even the general plot of each book. This way, somebody will know what's going on in at least a handful of books.

The breakdown is as follows:

Ralph Angelo: Group#1= the Superman titles- Superman, Superboy, Supergirl, and the Future titles section- Legionnaires.

Clay Arceneaux: Group#2= Bat-books- Azrael, Batman, Birds of Prey, Nightwing, and the Vertigo line- Doom Patrol, Shade, and House of Magic

Mike Hintze: Group#3= the JLA related titles- JLA, JLE, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Firestorm, Extreme Justice, Tales of the Green Lantern Corps

Dave Marshall: Group#4= the JSA related titles- JSA, Freedom Fighters, Spectre, Wildcat, All-American, and the Golden Age titles section- All Star, Crime Crusaders, Adventure, Brave and Bold

Dale Glaser: Group#5= the "don't fit elsewhere" titles -Titans, Bad Blood, Hawk & Dove, The New Gods, Showcase, and the Elseworlds- Batman Beyond, Showcase of Suspense, GA Teen Titans.

For those curious, Ralph and I still retain veto authority on all new
projects, and still retain ultimate responsibility for the site. The buck still stops here, on my desk. Unless it's really messed up, then I'm passing it to Ralph and claiming I was out of town.

So what does that mean for you, our readers... truthfully not too bloody much. Each editor is committed to making the books under their charge the best they can be. So if anything the stories you enjoy will only get better.

But in case some of you have designs on joining our writing staff, now you know who to pitch your ideas too.

As always, thanks for your continued interest in Faux DC.

Miry Clay
Editor in Chief of FauxDC
